Description
Interactive experiment serving as a PR presentation of Symblaze, interactive marketing agency, at a design week Designblok 2008, Prague, Czech Republic
The goal of the experiment was to find the "average" visitor to Designblok.
Visitors to the Symblaze booth were asked to provide their biometric data – a photo and measurements of their weight and height were taken. From this data, a computer program specially created by Symblaze generated the shape of the visitor’s body and the dominant colour of clothes resulting in an icon to represent the visitor. Each new icon was immediately compared with the average result created so far from previous visitors. The comparison was sent to visitor’s email address after the end of Designblok.
The experiment was designed to indicate the level of interest that visitors take in such surveys, how willing they are to give information about themselves and so how willing they are to take part.
During 6 days of the experiment, 2 515 participants engaged in the survey, including 23 children and 6 dogs.
